Tulus The Sound Project Vol 8 Stage Magic Becomes a Mass Karaoke Arena

Kapanlagi.com - The main stage of The Sound Project 8 suddenly transformed into a giant karaoke arena when the singer Tulus began his performance on Friday (8/8/2025) night at Ecopark Ancol, North Jakarta. He appeared around 7:30 PM WIB, and was immediately greeted with loud applause and warm cheers from the thousands of fans who had been waiting for him.

Without waiting long, Tulus immediately invited the entire audience to sing along with the opening song "Kelana".

"Good evening everyone, let's sing together," Tulus said from the stage, which was instantly met with a mass choir from the audience.

1. Melancholic

The melancholic and intimate atmosphere was strongly felt throughout his performance. Almost in every song, the audience sang along in unison, as if all the hits he performed were their mandatory songs. A special moment occurred when Tulus performed the song "Bumerang", which he admitted he rarely sings on stage.

"This is a song from the second album. I rarely perform this song. So if I make any mistakes in the lyrics, I hope you all remember it," Tulus said.

However, his worries were unfounded; the audience sang every verse of the song fluently. A series of hit repertoire such as "Monokrom", "Adu Rayu", and "Sepatu" successfully made the audience immerse themselves even deeper into the music. Responding to the extraordinary enthusiasm, Tulus interacted warmly with the crowd.

"I'm happy so far. Let's continue," he said before once again enchanting the audience with the song "Interaksi".

2. Highlight The Sound Project 8

Tulus's stunning performance became one of the highlights of the first day of The Sound Project 8. This music festival will continue on the second and third days on August 9 and 10, 2025.

A number of musicians from various generations will perform on six different stages, including D'Bagindas, Ardhito Pramono, Nidji, and Pee Wee Gaskins on the second day. Meanwhile, the third day will be enlivened by Afgan, Nadin Amizah, The Changcuters, JKT48, and many more.
