Preparation for the Peterpan Reunion Concert, Indra Faces Arrangement Challenges

Indra, the bassist, revealed that the preparations for this concert have been ongoing for about two months. According to him, this process has become an exciting yet challenging journey.

"As for the preparations, it has definitely been about two months. Two months, right?" said Indra.

1. Present Something New

He explained that this concert will present something truly new for the audience. For him, his biggest challenge is to repackage the song arrangements so that they still feel 'Peterpan' but fit the vocal colors of the different singers.

"This concert is indeed exciting, there are many challenges, but there is also something that will become something very new. So we are adjusting to the vocalists here," he explained.

Indra acknowledged that listeners have become very accustomed to the original arrangements of Peterpan. However, in this concert, they have to step out of their comfort zone to create a new harmony.

"Let us, maybe in the past people knew Peterpan's songs, 'Oh, that's it, I mean the arrangements are by the band, as a band like that'. Now here coincidentally there is Fiersa Besari, there is Ello, there is Tiara Andini," he said.

2. The Arrangement Challenges Faced by Indra

The main goal is how to ensure that each song performed can convey its message well, even with a new arrangement. He wants each singer to make the song feel like it belongs to them.

"Well, we are the ones who have to package how to make sure that the song they perform comes across. We want to find a way to make this song their signature," concluded Indra.
