Epic Collaboration of 'Anak Inbox' Band and Iwan Fals at SCTV Anniversary, Calls it the Best Moment

How could it not, bands that are so synonymous with the music program Inbox such as Hello Band, Hijau Daun, D'Bagindas, Five Minutes, and Goliath, reunited in an epic collaboration. They had the honor of sharing the stage with the living legend, Iwan Fals.

This historic moment took place at the Emtek City Studio, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Sunday (24/8/2025). For them, performing alongside a musician of Om Iwan's caliber, as he is affectionately called, is an unforgettable experience and one of the peaks in their career journey.

Dide, the vocalist of Hijau Daun, expressed that this opportunity is a once in a lifetime experience. Considering there are five major bands brought together on one grand stage with a maestro.

"This is our once in a lifetime experience, our experience, five bands. For us, this is an extraordinary experience, especially since we collaborated with Om Iwan Fals earlier," said Dide.

The emotional bond between these musicians and SCTV has indeed been tightly woven. They do not hesitate to refer to themselves as 'the children of SCTV', because this television station has been their home to grow and become widely known by the Indonesian public.

"More precisely, we are the children of SCTV. From the moment we were born, like the Javanese say, a newborn baby directly (on SCTV)," quipped one of the members, which was met with laughter.

2. Not an Ordinary Performance

For Widi of Hello Band, this collaboration is not just an ordinary performance. He firmly states that this moment is one of their best achievements in their career as musicians in the Indonesian music scene.

"And indeed this will be the best moment for us in our career," Widi asserted.

The preparations they undertook were relatively brief but very memorable. Bian Bagindas shared how the figure of Iwan Fals, who is so relaxed and friendly, made the rehearsal atmosphere more comfortable, eliminating all the tension they had initially felt.

"We only practiced with Om Iwan once. Om Iwan is indeed a low-profile, laid-back person, very welcoming. In the end, we just had fun. When we first came to practice, we were a bit shy," explained Bian.
