This moment occurred when Denise Chariesta was met after filing a police report at the South Jakarta Metro Police on Friday (22/8/2025). The report was made regarding the loss of her employee's motorcycle and is registered under number LP/B/3105/VIII/2025/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA.
When asked about the lessons or insights that could be drawn from this robbery incident, the mother of one linked it to her remarkable financial achievement. She expressed gratitude that her debt amounting to billions of rupiah has finally been paid off.
"What's important now from all this robbery incident, is that, thank God, several of my debts have been settled," said Denise with a beaming face.
This flower entrepreneur detailed that the debt he just settled was his arrears to the confectionery parties that have supported his clothing business all this time.
"All the confectioneries are paid off now. Yay!" he exclaimed with relief.
Without holding back, Denise revealed that the amount of debt he managed to pay reached a fantastic figure, around 7 billion rupiah. This debt accumulated due to various challenges in his business.
"So yesterday I had a debt of about, what was it, 7 billion maybe. 7 billion, right, because the confectioneries weren't paid and all sorts of things," he explained.
Even so, she admitted that her struggle is not completely over. After successfully settling the debt to the confectionery, she still has obligations to the fabric factories.
"Now the confectionery is paid off, now there's still debt to the fabric factories," she added.
For Denise, every disaster that comes always brings its own blessings. She believes that this robbery incident is one of God's ways of reminding her to stay strong and be grateful for her achievements.
"I believe there must be a blessing behind this disaster, amen," she concluded.
