Ariel Will Attend the Peterpan Reunion Concert, His Role Remains a Surprise

Kapanlagi.com - One of the biggest questions surrounding the Peterpan reunion concert has finally been answered. Budi Mulianto, a Founder & CEO of Aloka, has officially confirmed that Ariel, the iconic former vocalist, will also be present at this grand event.

The concert titled "The Journey Continues: All About Us" is scheduled to take place at Eldorado Dome, Bandung, on August 31, 2025.

Budi provided confirmation that is sure to relieve fans. However, he is still keeping tightly under wraps what role Ariel will play in the concert.

"What will Ariel be? Well, he will come. What will he be there?" said Budi when met at Studio Sepat, South Jakarta, Thursday (21/8/2025).

He intentionally made the fans curious and invited them to come and witness the surprises that have been prepared. According to him, Ariel's presence is an important element that cannot be separated from the history of Peterpan.

"What’s certain is that he will come, but what will happen, later all of you can come and see," he said.

Furthermore, Budi also emphasized that philosophically, Peterpan will always be considered to consist of six members, honoring the original formation that built their name. Although not everyone can perform physically, the spirit of togetherness will still be maintained.

"Peterpan remains six, even though physically some perform and some do not, but they are still six," he explained.

2. Uki Confirmed Not to Attend

When asked about Uki, Budi explained that the guitarist will not participate in this reunion concert. This decision was made purely because of Uki's personal life choices, which are highly respected by all parties.

"Well, as for Uki, it’s not because it’s already become a life decision, a life choice. So, yes, we also communicate, but this has already become a life choice, so we can’t force that," he concluded.
