"I hope my songs become a light for all sorrows and bring peace. Well, from a calm heart, one can rise, think positively, and be happy. Especially now that we are in a worrisome atmosphere, we must be physically and mentally healthy," said Ify Alyssa.

Furthermore, Ify revealed that in her opinion, life is not just about oneself. There are many other people out there who have their own problems and challenges.

"Many people ask if the songs on this album are taken from my personal experience. My music and lyrics are born from feelings and observations of people around me, from friends, and others. But I want to package them into something easy listening. Hopefully, it can be enjoyed when alone, at work, studying, tired in traffic, or as a lullaby," she continued.

Album Making Process Done in the Pandemic

The preparation process for her album had to be done during the pandemic. However, this condition actually made Ify more focused, not bored at home, and far from stress. In addition, she also became more grateful because she could be more creative. Not only that, meetings and collaborations were also done virtually, including with Gerald Situmorang who was also trusted as the producer of this album.

“For me, as a producer, this album is quite challenging. Especially since some songs were completed in the pandemic era where everything was done and communicated from a distance. Fortunately, Ify is the type of musician who has had a clear and detailed vision since sending the demo,” said Gerald Situmorang.
