Kapanlagi.com - Famous lawyer Minola Sebayang has created a new project called the Minola Sebayang Project. Through this project, Minola becomes an executive producer who will launch talented young singers from his hometown, Karo, North Sumatra.
There are five young singers who will be launched by Minola Sebayang, including Maharani Tarigan, Mayang Mytami, Trisna Key, Rainson, and Mey. These names have passed the selection from the coaching clinic initiated by Minola Sebayang in collaboration with singer Rieka Roslan. Minola's interest in launching singers from Karo is not without reason.
Minola herself wants singers from Karo to be known nationally, not just locally. Moreover, the vocal quality of the five singers chosen by Minola Sebayang is no less excellent than the top singers in the country.
"I care about developing the Karo community, especially Karo artists who are the land of my blood and birth. Therefore, as much as possible, because my profession as a lawyer is not far from the celebrity world, I want to share what I have with my fellow artists from my region," said Minola Sebayang at Eighty Nine Eatery, Kemang, South Jakarta, Friday (30/10/2020).
Minola Sebayang is known as a lawyer who often helps celebrity cases in Indonesia. There have been many celebrity cases that she has handled. Starting from Ruben Onsu, Ashanty, Julia Perez, and many others.
Now, after successfully becoming a famous lawyer, Minola Sebayang is trying to become an executive producer at Minola Sebayang Project, which will launch several singers from Karo, North Sumatra. So, what do the artists who have been clients of Minola Sebayang think about her becoming an executive producer?
"I told Ruben 'Ben that I plan to help local artists enter the national music industry'. That's why on several social media platforms like Instagram, Ivan Gunawan, Ayu Ting Ting, and Ruben congratulate and support their latest singles," said Minola.
"This shows that they have no problem with it. It's not that I want to switch professions, but I want to help my local artists enter the national music industry. So, this is one of my contributions to my homeland. I can't help much, but at least I can help them in terms of their artistry to bring them to the national music scene. Their responses have been positive," Minola concluded.
