Touted as One of the Best Young Singers, Ghaniyya Ghazi Releases EP Titled 'Stay Home'

Kapanlagi.com - Throughout the pandemic, young singer Ghaniyya Ghazi has had to spend more time at home. However, it doesn't hinder the 18-year-old from continuing to create. She has already written 3 songs while being at home.

Ghaniyya then compiled these three songs into an EP titled Stay Home which was released in August. The three songs, titled Stay Home, A Lovely Life, and Beautiful War, are written in English and carry a melancholic and soothing folk alternative genre.

Each song has a different theme, such as the opening track, Stay Home, which reflects the COVID-19 pandemic. Ghaniyya expresses her longing for activities outside the house while still injecting the spirit that all these trials will soon end.

The next song, A Lovely Life, tells the process of moving on from the past and shaping oneself to become better. Meanwhile, the last song, Beautiful War, tells the story of conflicts in a romantic relationship that is very relatable to real life.

Ghaniyya also showcases her songs in live session format on her personal YouTube channel. Ghaniyya herself often receives praise for her vocal quality during live performances, which is not different from the recorded results.

2. About Ghaniyya Ghazi

Ghaniyya is a talented young soloist from Jakarta who started diving into the digital music world since 2017. Since childhood, Ghaniyya has shown great talent in music. This is proven by her skills in playing several instruments such as piano, guitar, and ukulele.

Before the EP Stay Home, Ghaniyya has released several other hit singles such as Why Do You Love Me? and Can't Live. In addition, this beautiful girl often covers various international hit songs on her personal Youtube channel.
