Not only admired by ordinary people, it turns out the song caught the attention of high-ranking officials in Indonesia. Even, some figures like the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo and the Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, Bambang Soesatyo, gave positive responses through their respective social media.
"I was surprised and totally unexpected. This video has been released and aired on several media outlets a few months ago and I thought the song had reached its peak. But a few days ago when I woke up, I found that my followers suddenly increased, and I discovered that the video went viral on Twitter and Instagram with other accounts also posting it, even accounts from several government officials. Thank you to the Indonesian people who have welcomed this project well," said Bernard Dinata.

The song For You, Indonesia was created from Bernard's longing for his family in Indonesia during the early days of the pandemic. He had to be separated at that time because he was completing his studies in the United States.
"At that time, I was finishing my final semester in America in the midst of a pandemic situation that was sweeping the world. Being alone in America, the deep loneliness at that time made me long to go home and meet my family. I really wanted this heart to do something, to share feelings, to pray, or anything that could give strength and encourage the hearts of my family and friends in Indonesia. That's when I called Abram Lembono and expressed the idea of creating this song and video, which tells the world's support and concern for the country and nation of Indonesia. The two of us agreed to invite some of our favorite vocalists to join this song project," he explained.

"Coincidentally, I will be releasing 12 songs from my debut album on all music media platforms soon. This album conveys a different side of the meaning of love and also serves as a collection of stories from my life. The plan is to release it every month, starting from November 13, 2020," Bernard Dinata concluded.
