'Why Did You Leave Me', Arjuna89's Latest Single with Mandarin and Mellow Nuances

Reza (vocals) and Adoy (drums) apparently have a special reason why Arjuna89 chose to include Mandarin notation in Why Did You Leave Me. Namely, because this single has a slow and mellow tempo. And Mandarin notation is considered very suitable for songs with this tempo.

Arjuna89's new song actually has been written since 2020. However, Reza and Adoy chose to keep it for 2 years for certain reasons. This song is inspired by the events that have occurred in recent years and relates to the current condition of society.

"This latest single was made inspired by the many people who were left by their partners during difficult economic times and pandemics like today," said Reza.

The lyrics of the song Mengapa Kau Meninggalkan Ku (Why Did You Leave Me) tell the story of someone who struggles for their love. They do everything for their love. However, ironically, the partner they fight for just leaves them.

Singing this song is not without difficulties. Reza revealed that the difficulty he had to face was in terms of interpretation. He had to be super careful during the recording process.

"Because the tempo is quite slow, the difficulty is more on the vocals being more careful and the mixing also has to be really meticulous. So that all the arrangements are heard and the lyrics of the song are conveyed to the ears of the listeners," concluded Reza.
