Will Collaborate with Rossa and JKT48, Ariel NOAH Reveals the Challenges

Kapanlagi.com - In the celebration of SCTV's 31st anniversary which will be held on August 24th. For the first time, the band NOAH will collaborate with Rossa and JKT48 on stage.

"There is one number where me, Ariel, and JKT48 will have a medley. The arrangement is made by Ariel," said Rossa during a virtual press conference some time ago.

The singer of Pudar also admitted that she is happy to always be trusted to perform at SCTV's anniversary event every year. Rossa is also happy because SCTV always prepares its events with a mature and always different concept.

"I am grateful to always be trusted to fill SCTV's anniversary and what I like is that SCTV always prepares it well, not just singing. But the team really thinks about what concept there is. Not a month before the event, but usually six months before the event, they invite us to talk, sit down, and start thinking about what the concept will be like. In my opinion, that is an advantage of SCTV's product," she said.

1. Challenges Faced by Ariel

Ariel NOAH is confident that this collaboration will be exciting and interesting. However, it also poses a challenge for Ariel, who is responsible for the musical arrangements.

For this project, Ariel has to merge three different genres of music. Not to mention, they will be singing in three languages: Indonesian, Japanese, and Korean.

"This collaboration is really exciting. From Noah to Rossa, to JKT48. We try to dive into their world. Ocha (Rossa) has to be sentimental, while JKT48 is energetic, we also have to balance the music, that's the challenge," said Ariel.

"This is also trilingual, so there are three languages. We have to be a little careful to make it sound pleasant. But it's enjoyable to arrange someone else's song, like how to make Ocha's song, sung by Rossa but with NOAH's music. And the energy is like JKT48, but it still has NOAH's color. The excitement is there, we spent quite a few days in the studio recently," he added.

2. Enthusiasm of JKT48

JKT48 also expressed great enthusiasm for the collaboration. They also stated that it is an honor to collaborate with senior musicians like Rossa and NOAH. The singer of Rapsodi also promised to deliver the best performance.

"We are also excited to collaborate with Kak Ariel and Teh Ocha because the chosen song arrangement is amazing. It's also great because we have never collaborated before, so it's an honor for us to collaborate with senior musicians. We will do our best to deliver the best performance," concluded JKT48.
