The music industry in Indonesia is shining brighter through its music creations, where bands and solo musicians are increasing their creativity and skills in various music fields.

However, there are also many new musicians who are renewing the innovation of the music world in an interesting way. Nevertheless, this cannot be separated from the existence of Indonesian bands that were once characterized by their simplicity, uniqueness, and were missed by many fans, especially the early 2000s generation.

Even like Indonesian musicians who were inactive for a long time but are now active again, they will release new song albums so that the nostalgia time awaited by music lovers becomes more complete.

1. The Lucky Laki

You must be familiar with the band with their popular song titled Aku Bukan Superman owned by the band The Lucky Laki which was formed by Al Ghazali, El Rumi, and Dul Jaelani, who are the three children of Maia Estianty and Ahmad Dhani. Now, the band has recruited Zavi or Timur Zavier, the son of Andra Ramadhan (guitarist of Dewa 19) as an additional personnel to become a guitarist.

Previously, this band was active from 2009 to 2014, and due to their busy schedules, they eventually decided to go on hiatus. However, the good news is that at the end of 2022, they announced the reunion of The Lucky Laki through a post on their official band account @theluckylakiofficial. They were then seen performing in various places, including their performance in Bali on October 29, 2022, and their latest performance in the Digi Playlist Lobe Festival in Bandung, West Java, and the Dewa 19 concert titled Pesta Rakyat 30 Years of Careers Dewa 19 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta on February 4, 2023. They were also invited to perform at an art show at SMAN 76 Jakarta, then in Makassar on March 12, 2023, which was followed by their performance at Gelora Bumi Kaktus (GBK), Palu, on March 14, 2023, and their performance in Surabaya, East Java, on March 16.

2. Matta Band

After 12 years of hiatus, Matta Band has returned to the music scene. Their latest update is that Matta Band has started performing again through a music event called Best On Track held by Pelangi Records and East Entertainment.

Matta Band is a music group from Bandung formed in 2006 with members Sunu (Vocal), Diky (Guitar), Igoy (Guitar), Stey (Bass), and Bachman (Drum). Matta Band's discography is on their first album, which is still remembered for their popular songs such as Ketahuan Sumpah Mati, Playboy, released in June 2007.

Furthermore, Matta released their second album titled "Permatta" as a tribute to their fans. After finding out the tracklist, there were quite a few Matta Band's works, such as Sumpah Mati, Kau Raih and Kau Lepas, Ketahuan | Jatuh Cinta Lagi (Playboy), Bila Memang Harus, Berakhir Dengan Pasti, Tersenyumlah, Tak Bertepi, Penantian, and Bersama Kita.

3. Jamrud

The Jamrud band is a legendary rock band from West Java. They had been on hiatus for quite some time and had undergone personnel changes before making a comeback to active music-making. It was reported that after celebrating their 25th anniversary concert at the end of 2021, they announced the release of their new single titled 'Perspektif'.

Meanwhile, their song 'Ea' 'Eo' has been playing simultaneously on all radio stations in Indonesia since mid-March 2022 and has finally resulted in an official music video. According to the band, the song is meant to provide encouragement and entertainment to all Indonesian music listeners. How humble of them!

4. GAC (Gamaliel, Audrey, Cantika)

Finally making a comeback with their new song, the music group GAC consisting of Gamaliel, Audrey, and Cantika have released their new song 'Baru' with a new sound. Not only does it showcase their unique musical elements, but GAC also presents energetic dance moves with a cheerful melody and various instruments.

Meanwhile, the song 'Baru' is a perfect representation of the spirit that GAC wants to share by encouraging their listeners to turn a new page. They hope that this song will inspire people to take the right steps towards the future.

5. Djari Band

Djari Band consists of 5 musicians from Bandung named Arya (Vocals), Oky (Guitar), Zubey (Guitar), Arif (Bass), and Hardi (Drums). Their music genre is classified as Alternative Pop.

Actually, Djari Band is not a new band, but has been around since 2007. They even went on hiatus for 10 years after releasing their single 'Bunga Terindah' on February 14, 2010. Finally, Djari Band has made a comeback with their recently released song titled 'Hilang'.
