Now back in the spotlight, Risa went viral for being inaugurated as a rector at the age of 27. She was also recognized as the youngest rector in Indonesia by MURI.
Risa is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley majoring in Economics. She then continued her Master's degree through a scholarship from LPDP (Education Fund Management Institution) at Harvard University.
This Surabaya-born woman has participated in a program to become a tutor in economics, mathematics, and statistics at Diablo Valley College. Previously, she had also been an intern at ASIA Malang for three months.
Before becoming a rector, Risa Santoso had been a staff member at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) for 1.5 years.
Risa has also served as Director of Development, initiating accelerated cooperation with Switzerland in startup development through the AETP (Asia Entrepreneurship Training Program), Asia Hackathon, and overseas internship programs.
Risa is currently serving as the rector at the Institute of Technology and Business Asia Malang.
Recently, Risa got engaged and will soon marry her beloved, Michael Sugijanto.
