The distance from Larantuka to Kelimutu is about 230 km, and if you ride a motorcycle, it will take about 5-6 hours. Therefore, it is recommended to leave in the morning to arrive at the Lake Kelimutu area by the afternoon.

If you start from Kelimutu, you will travel approximately 230 km, which takes about 5-6 hours. It is recommended to depart in the morning so that you can enjoy a pleasant afternoon picnic in Savana Mausui.

The location of this grassland is at the foot of Mount Komba and Poco Ndeki, not far from the waters of Tanjung Bendera. This is what makes Savana Mausui have an amazing landscape on all sides.

3. Explore the Wae Rebo Tourism Village

The third level is called lentar, which is a storage place for seeds for the next planting season. The fourth level is lempa rae, used for storing food supplies in case of drought, and the top fifth level is hekang kode, considered the most sacred because it is a place for offerings to ancestors.
