Collaborating with Adira Finance, KEMENPAREKRAF Holds Local Creative Festival 2020

Kapanlagi.com - The Local Creative Festival 2020 is the result of collaboration between the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenparekraf RI) and PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk. (Adira Finance). Both have officially inaugurated a memorandum of understanding to organize this large-scale event.

Carrying the theme #RiseTogetherWithFriends, Adira Finance's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities have been held since August 2020 until January 2021. Through the Local Creative Festival, it is hoped that the welfare of creative economy practitioners can be improved.

"The community is asked to work together to become heroes for local products by contributing to the #BeliKreatifLokal (Buy Local Creative) and Bangga Buatan Indonesia (Proud of Indonesian Made) programs. We welcome the initiative from Adira Finance to hold the Local Creative Festival. This activity is a concrete manifestation of good synergy with the private sector in efforts to help improve the welfare of creative economy practitioners. Kemenparekraf supports the implementation of this activity by becoming a strategic partner," said Wishnutama Kusubandio, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of RI.

1. Reviving the Economy

As known, the country's economy sector has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, Adira Finance presents the Local Creative Festival as an initiative to support SME entrepreneurs.

"The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted businesses. This situation encourages us to rise and collaborate in facing economic difficulties. In line with our vision of creating shared value to improve welfare, #FestivalKreatifLokal 2020 is our commitment to support SME entrepreneurs and young generations in building Indonesia's economy together. This program is our support for the Kemenparekraf RI program #BeliKreatifLokal and Proud of Indonesian Products initiated by Mr. President," said Hafid Hadeli, CEO of Adira Finance.

2. Exciting Series of Events

There are two programs in the 2020 Local Creative Festival which is part of the series of activities for Adira Finance's 30th anniversary, namely the Local Creative Award and the Local Creative Concert. The Local Creative Award is a real appreciation from Adira Finance for individual entrepreneurs who have shown remarkable performance achievements and empowered their communities through innovation and creativity, thus improving their own and their environment's living standards.

The Local Creative Award is a selection event for the top 18 SMEs from 6 categories of creative economy, namely Culinary, Fashion, Crafts, Photography, Video, and Performances. The candidates will be chosen from 1000 SMEs supported by Kemenparekraf RI, Adira Finance customers, and the general public.

The winners will not only receive business capital worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, but also business coaching, mentoring programs with Kemenparekraf RI, exclusive online stalls on Bukalapak, as well as media exposure for their products and businesses. 3. Equally Exciting

The announcement of the winners of the Local Creative Award will be held in November 2020, coinciding with Adira Finance's 30th anniversary. The Local Creative Awarding Night event will be enlivened with various activities such as a creative conference by renowned speakers, experts in the creative industry, and international speakers.

At the end of the Local Creative Festival 2020, precisely in January 2021, the Local Creative Concert will be held. This event consists of a series of activities including Live Streaming events, an Online Bazaar featuring the products of the award winners, Online Workshops & Talkshows with creative icons according to the categories, as well as a Charity Concert by famous Indonesian artists to raise donations for SMEs affected by the pandemic.
