EMTEK Cares for Corona, Distributes 10,000 Food Packages and Various Medical Equipment to Various Corners of Indonesia

1. Distribution of 10,000 Food Packages

Ahead of the distribution of 10,000 food packages through 50 Partner Stores on May 6, 2020, today (5/4) several Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as Hazmat suits, Foot Covers, Surgical Masks, Face Shields, Safety Goggles, and Safety Gloves are ready to be sent to several distribution targets including Bumi Emas-Lampung Health Center, Serang-Banten Regional General Hospital, Bhayangkara Semarang Hospital, Oen Solo Baru Hospital-Central Java, and the eastern region of Indonesia, namely TNI Samoel Jl. Moeda Kupang-East Nusa Tenggara.

For distribution, YPP coordinates with SCTV and Indosiar transmission stations in those areas as a form of support for the government's policy on physical distancing and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).

2. Health Needs

Other distribution activities that took place on Monday, May 4, 2020, were the delivery of health equipment in the Jabodetabek area. A total of 70 hazmat suits, 60 N95 masks, and 700 surgical masks were handed over to RS Harapan Keluarga Cikarang. Meanwhile, Puskesmas Jatiwarna-Bekasi received 70 hazmat suits, 60 N95 masks, and 600 surgical masks.

The Tangerang area that received assistance today was Puskesmas Ketapang, which received 90 hazmat suits, 60 N95 masks, and 600 surgical masks. Other donations that were also handed over by EMTEK Peduli Corona today were disinfectant liquids and sprayers to the residents of Kelurahan Munjul RT 001 RW 004 Cipayung-East Jakarta.
