1. Opening a Hajj Savings Account

The first step to register for regular Hajj is by opening a Hajj savings account. This is mandatory for those of you who will perform the regular Hajj organized by the government. So, before you register at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, you must open a savings account first. Only after opening the account can you proceed with the registration.

You can open an account as designated by the government. The process of opening a Hajj savings account is as simple as going to the bank with your identification, such as your Identity Card (KTP), and Rp 25 million as an initial deposit. This amount is one of the requirements for registering for regular Hajj by making an initial payment of BPIH to the Ministry of Religious Affairs' account amounting to Rp 25 million. Furthermore, this is also to obtain certainty of departure (queue number) for regular Hajj.

2. Signing the Statement of Hajj Requirements

The second way to register for Hajj is by signing the statement of Hajj requirements. After having a Hajj savings account as a regular Hajj registration method, you are required to sign the statement of meeting the Hajj registration requirements issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. - Photocopy of health certificate, 100% size, including height, weight, and blood type, 2 sheets

- 17 pieces of 3x4 photos, 3 pieces of 4x6 photos. The photo must have 80% face with a white background.

- 2 folders (the brand of the folder is determined by the bank) to store the documents

- 1 sheet of original bank statement (stamp),

6. How to Register for Regular Hajj at the Ministry of Religious Affairs

And the last way to register for Hajj is by visiting the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Once all the affairs are settled, you can continue to register for regular Hajj directly at the Ministry of Religious Affairs office. It is recommended for prospective Hajj pilgrims to come to the District or City Ministry of Religious Affairs office in the morning to prevent long queues.

In addition to the SPPH proof sheet, the prospective hajj pilgrims will also receive the initial BPIH deposit receipt issued by the bank. These two proof sheets must be kept properly, not damaged, even laminated.
