Jakarta International Marathon 2024 Attended by 15,000 Participants, Le Minerale Present to Meet the Hydration and Mineral Needs of Participants

Kapanlagi.com - Successfully held, the Jakarta International Marathon (JAKIM) 2024 attracted 15 thousand participants, both local and international, who took part in the event held in Central Jakarta, Sunday (23/6/2024).

Since early morning, participants were ready and enthusiastic to participate in the race. There were three categories competed, namely Marathon (42.195K) which started at 04.00 WIB, Half Marathon (21.0975K) starting at 05.15 WIB, and 10K at 06.15 WIB. All categories started from Monas.

1. Meet Hydration Point Standards

One of the successes of the implementation of the Jakarta International Marathon 2024 is considered through the fulfillment of standardized organization and participant safety, including hydration point standards.

The organizers of JAKIM 2024 stated that they have made maximum efforts to meet international standards.

Race Director of JAKIM 2024, Satrio Guardian, stated, "We have prepared water stations at 20 points according to international standards. Participants don't need to worry because we have collaborated with Le Minerale, mineral water with quality minerals and international standards as well."

The Jakarta Provincial Government, as the organizer, thanks the participants who were involved and made the event successful.

"Thank you to all layers of society who have supported so that this event can run smoothly. Of course, the most important thing for runners is sterilization, and this has been successful thanks to the participation of the entire community," said Heru at GBK, Jakarta.

2. Hydration Needs and Mineral Sufficiency of Participants Fulfilled

Overall, the event went well, including the safety of the participants and their hydration needs and mineral sufficiency. Le Minerale, with its essential mineral content, helps regulate the body temperature of the runners to stay stable and also functions to deliver oxygen to various body tissues.

If oxygen transfer is hindered, runners will experience dizziness when they lack fluids and minerals, especially when running in hot weather.
