From these two locations, illegal cigarettes were found, consisting of 9,480 packs of Alphard brand with 16 cigarettes each, 3,160 packs of MEG Mild brand with 16 cigarettes each, 30 packs of DN Mild brand with 16 cigarettes each, and 2 cartons of loose cigarettes.

3. Total Loss

From the operations in locations 2 and 3, the estimated loss to the country amounted to Rp 114.9 million. Until now, the case is still under further investigation.

"There is no exception during this holy month, every violation of customs regulations will be further dealt with according to the laws and regulations," he emphasized.

Latif Helmi hopes that the circulation of illegal cigarettes in the Malang Raya area will continue to decrease and meet the target set by the Minister of Finance this year to reduce the circulation of illegal cigarettes to 1%.
