Summarecon Mall Bekasi Welcomes Independence Day with a Series of Thematic Events and Exciting Shopping Programs

1. People's Party Bazaar

Unlike previous years, for the first time this year's August Rush event presents a thematic bazaar called 'Pesta Rakyat' which will take place from August 11th to 20th, 2023 at Bekasi Food City (BFC) area. Without an entrance fee, Pesta Rakyat is open every day from 16.00 to 22.00 WIB (Monday to Friday) and from 11.00 to 22.00 WIB (Saturday, Sunday & National Holidays).

Upon entering the area, visitors will be greeted with a decoration gate featuring various types of typical August 17th races. With a total of 12 booths, visitors can hunt for various types of snacks, including Jaja Doelan, Sate Taican Bon-Bon, Serabi Durian F1, Mangan Steak Mantep, and many more.

In addition, there is also the Bekasi Ecoprint Club which sells environmentally friendly traditional fashion products, as well as Aurora which sells various art & craft products. Visitors can make transactions at Pesta Rakyat using cash or non-cash payment methods. The excitement of Independence Day is further enhanced by the presence of Parade and Meet Up Community (Antique Cars, Motorcycles, Vintage Bicycles & Decorated Bicycles), Competitions, School Performances, and Live Music.

"The August Rush event is back to inspire and bring excitement to visitors through various shopping programs and interesting and entertaining August 17th competitions. Uniquely, for the first time, we are also organizing the Pesta Rakyat bazaar in collaboration with UMKM entrepreneurs. 2. August Shopping Program

To add excitement to shopping at Summarecon Mall Bekasi, there is a Puzzle Games shopping program. For visitors who are members of the Summarecon Mall App and enter the Top 3 Spender ranking during the shopping period from August 3-24, 2023, they have the opportunity to participate in puzzle games with a total prize of 5 million rupiah. Visitors are also invited to reminisce with traditional games in the Giant Engklek Surprise program. To participate in this game, members of the Summarecon Mall App who spend a minimum of 200 thousand rupiah can take a lucky dip containing SMB shopping vouchers and engklek playing coupons. To understand the meaning of a struggle, celebrating Independence Day is synonymous with the August 17th competition. Summarecon Mall Bekasi invites mall tenant employees to participate in the August 17th competition, which will be held on August 17, 2023.

There are eight competitions, including flour relay race, banana eating contest, sack race, biscuit eating contest, crackers eating contest, solidarity competition (cheers, best costume & best supporter), and tenant decoration contest. The winners of the competition will receive SMB shopping vouchers worth a total of 20 million rupiah.
