Hooray! 'Tonight Show' Will Return Starting June 1, 2020

After disappearing for a month during Ramadan, the Tonight Show finally returns on NET. Hosts Vincent and Desta, along with co-hosts Hesti Purwadinata and Enzy Storia, are ready to entertain their loyal fans, who are commonly referred to as Tonight Lovers.

1. Starting June 1, 2020, Time is Still Kept Secret

During the break, all parties involved continue to develop the Tonight Show program to become even better.

"What actually happened was that we routinely evaluate our programs. The program must evolve according to consumer dynamics. That's what happened yesterday to give Tonight Show a break," said Edo Wicaksono, Head of NET Production Division, during a press conference via zoom on Friday (29/5).

"During the break, everyone is in the process. We as content makers are also in the process, looking back at what has happened over the past 6 years. What can we develop, improve, and what we can maintain, as well as our partners (the hosts)," he continued.

2. Starting June 1, 2020, the Time is Still a Secret

Tonight Show will return on June 1, 2020. However, the airing time is still a secret to make the audience even more curious.

"Actually, it's not a secret, but it's part of our strategy to make people wait for the return of the Tonight Show program that has been eagerly anticipated. But we will definitely air it in prime time between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM," concluded Yeni Anshar, Director of NET Programming.
