"Because Galih does not accept the verdict of the South Jakarta District Court, which sentenced him to 2.4 years in prison," said Denny Lubis when contacted by phone on Thursday (9/7/2020).

Denny also said that it was not only Galih's side whose appeal was rejected by the Jakarta High Court. The Prosecutor's Office (JPU) appeal was also rejected.
"Actually, it's not just us who filed an appeal. But the prosecutors also filed an appeal. Because they want or request this PT judge to decide the case according to the demand," he said.
In addition, the appeal was rejected, Galih Ginanjar's side will submit a cassation to the Supreme Court. However, for now, they are still waiting for a copy of the verdict from the Panel of Judges of the Jakarta High Court.
"Yes, that's correct. We're waiting for the copy of the verdict first before making a decision for cassation," said Denny.
