Mediation Failed, Jefri Nichol's Legal Counsel Continues to Seek Peaceful Resolution with Falcon

Kapanlagi.com - The mediation process between Jefri Nichol and Falcon Pictures once again faced failure in the hearing held at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (6/7/2020).

"We are looking for a win-win solution but until now we have not reached a consensus, so next week the prosecution's lawsuit will be continued," said Aris Marasabessy, legal counsel for Jefri Nichol.

1. No Agreement Yet

Aris cannot say what points are the obstacles that cause no agreement between Falcon as the plaintiff and his client who is considered to have violated the contractual agreement.

"If we cannot convey the mediation points. I think it is not ethical for me to convey them. If peace is created, then we will inform how the peace is," he said.

2. Seeking Peace

Although experiencing failure, Aris said he would still find a way for the case that befalls his client to be resolved through peace or in a familial manner.

"What is certain is that we are trying, even though mediation failed today, but mediation can still be done. The point is that peace can still be achieved before the decision becomes final and legally binding," he said.

3. Allegations of Breach of Contract

As known, Jefri Nichol, together with Junita Eka Putri (his mother), and Baetz Agagon (his former manager), are being sued in civil court by Falcon Pictures for alleged breach of contract.

In their lawsuit, Falcon is demanding compensation from Jefri Nichol, his mother, and his former manager amounting to 4.2 billion Indonesian rupiah. The actor, born in Jakarta on January 1, 1999, is also asked to return the fee he has received, which amounts to 280 million Indonesian rupiah.
