Kapanlagi.com - Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta Religious Court, Cece Rukmana Ibrahim, confirmed that Zumi Zola has been sued for divorce by his wife, Sherrin Tharia. The divorce lawsuit filed by Sherrin Tharia has been received by the South Jakarta Religious Court since March 2020.

"That's correct. Zumi Zola has been sued by his wife. The lawsuit was filed on March 26, 2020. The panel of judges was immediately appointed on the same day, March 26, 2020," said Cece when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (24/6).

1. Accused of Lack of Attention

In the lawsuit, Sherrin Tharia is alleged to have filed for divorce from Zumi Zola due to conflicts in their marriage. Not only that, the Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta Religious Court also mentioned that Sherrin did not receive enough attention from her former lover, Ayu Dewi.

"If the reason for her lawsuit is the occurrence of disputes and arguments between the plaintiff and the defendant. The second reason is the lack of attention from the defendant to the plaintiff. The specific time of the conflict was not explained, only that," she said.

2. Not an Economic Factor

In addition to these two reasons, the lawsuit does not explain whether economic factors also contributed to the cracking of Zumi Zola and Sherrin Tharia's household. As is known, Zumi Zola was officially detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on April 9, 2018, for alleged bribery in the Regional Budget Amendment for the 2018 fiscal year in Jambi.

"There is none, it is not mentioned. Only those two things, maybe because of the condition of the defendant," he said.
