Positive for Coronavirus, Amitabh Bachchan Treated in Hospital and House Locked Down

After being declared positive, the man affectionately known as Big B was immediately treated in the hospital. He was placed in isolation to prevent the spread of the coronavirus to others.

1. Improved Condition

Although being treated in the hospital, overall Big B's condition is good. He only complained of slight shortness of breath but can still carry out activities as usual.

However, the doctor asked Big B to be treated in the hospital for easier monitoring. It is known that besides being old, Big B also has a history of previous liver disease.

2. Abhishek Also Hospitalized

In addition to Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan is also being treated by doctors in the hospital. Like his father, Abhishek has tested positive for COVID-19 and experienced mild symptoms.

Currently, Abhishek is also being treated in isolation but in good condition. He is still awaiting further test results before being declared negative for the coronavirus.

3. House on Lockdown

Meanwhile, the Bachchan family home in the Juhu area has been put on lockdown after four of its members tested positive for COVID-19. The entire building has been disinfected by health officers from the Mumbai City Government and then locked down for the next 14 days.

Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan, who also tested positive for COVID-19, are now staying at home. They are undergoing self-quarantine before being allowed to resume activities outside the home.
