Rapper Sidhu Moose Wala Killed in Gangster Attack, Shot Dozens of Times - 18 Bullets Lodged in His Body

Kapanlagi.com - Multiple tragic news have come from India. Before singer KK died of a heart attack after performing in Kolkata, rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by a gangster on May 29, 2022.

The 28-year-old Punjabi rapper was shot while on his way to visit his aunt in Barnala with two of his friends, Gurvinder Singh and Gurpreet Singh. They were traveling in an SUV, with Sidhu sitting in the front and his two friends sitting in the back.

According to NDTV.com, Sidhu was shot more than 30 times by 8 to 10 attackers who were later identified as gang members. After firing multiple shots, the gangster checked to see if the rapper was still alive or not.

1. Attacked in Broad Daylight

The attack on Sidhu occurred in broad daylight and in a public place. His two friends in the back seat witnessed how brutal the gangsters were in firing shots at the rapper.

The journey was going smoothly until Sidhu arrived at his aunt's village. Suddenly, shots were fired from behind and a car blocked Sidhu's vehicle from the front.

A man carrying an automatic pistol appeared from the front and began brutally shooting at Sidhu. Sidhu tried to fight back with his own pistol, but he was overpowered by the attacker.

Gruvinder Singh stated that besides the shooter from the front, there were several other people who also fired shots from three sides of the vehicle. Sidhu tried to escape but failed.

2. Without Bodyguard

Usually Sidhu brings a bodyguard on every trip. But on that fateful day, he did not bring a bodyguard because his car could not accommodate 5 people. Sidhu's bodyguards rode in another car and followed the rapper from behind along with his father.

"In a few minutes, the car carrying the shooters fled. I started screaming and people crowded around. I hurriedly took my son and his friends to the hospital and he died there," said Sidhu's father.

3. 18 Bullets

After the autopsy, the doctor declared that Sidhu died 15 minutes after the shooting. Of the 30 shots fired by the attacker, 18 bullets hit the rapper's body.

From the police investigation, it was found that the weapon used by the attacker was the AN 94 Russia. In addition to bullets, a weapon was left at the scene.

The police are still pursuing the culprit and the family has offered a reward for the capture of the gangster. The family held a cremation ceremony on June 1, 2022, which was attended by relatives and fans of the rapper.
