Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who was injured in an attack last month, is back to work. He was seen attending the launch event of his latest film Jewel Thief, which will be released on Netflix. Despite still wearing a cast on his arm, Saif expressed his relief and gratitude for being able to attend the event, even after experiencing a stabbing incident.

Saif feels very happy to be present and is excited about his new film project. He also stated how important it is for him to be able to speak directly in front of the audience, despite recently going through a rather terrifying experience. He said, "Siddharth and I have been discussing this project for a long time. I have always wanted to star in a heist-themed film, and I couldn't ask for a better co-star."

The film Jewel Thief tells the story of a crime lord who recruits a skilled diamond thief to steal a rare diamond known as The African Red Sun. However, this operation, initially planned very carefully, turns into an adventure full of tension and unexpected twists.

Netflix describes Jewel Thief as an exhilarating heist story, where the diamond robbery evolves into something much more complicated and filled with surprises. Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat will play the two main characters in this film.

Saif also spoke about his working relationship with Jaideep Ahlawat, who is his co-star in this film. He mentioned that they have been talking about this film for a long time, and he feels lucky to collaborate with Jaideep. "He is an amazing actor, and I am very happy to share the screen with him," he said.

The stabbing incident involving Saif occurred on January 16 at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. At that time, an assailant attempted to rob his house and stabbed Saif with a knife. The knife was lodged very close to his spine, requiring Saif to undergo emergency surgery to remove it.

After undergoing five days of intensive care in the hospital, Saif was finally allowed to go home. He expressed his gratitude for being able to recover and return to work. Meanwhile, the robbery suspect has been arrested and is currently in police custody for further investigation.
