Kapanlagi.com - Shahrukh Khan was reported to have sustained an injury while filming his latest movie, King. In fact, rumors circulating suggested that filming was temporarily halted because SRK had to fly to the United States for treatment.
However, the latest information contradicts this news. According to NDTV, a source close to Shahrukh confirmed that the legendary Bollywood actor did not sustain any injury.
“The rumor about Shahrukh suffering a back injury on the set of King is completely untrue,” the source stated.
It was also explained that SRK indeed has a history of old injuries that sometimes flare up, and his visit to the US was merely part of a routine check-up, not due to an emergency.
Another source from the production team also added that what Shahrukh experienced was only mild muscle strain, not a serious injury. “Over the years, he has experienced injuries from action scenes multiple times, so this is likely a result of accumulated physical stress.”
The film King is directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously achieved success with Pathaan (2023). This film will also mark the feature film debut of Shah Rukh's daughter, Suhana Khan. The project is reportedly set to star a lineup of top actors including Deepika Padukone, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma, although the final list is still awaiting an official announcement.
Before King, Shahrukh Khan last appeared in the film Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani, alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Now, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the megastar is still in good condition and ready to return to the big screen.
