She added that the most effective fear actually comes from things that could really happen in the real world. As a parent, she can imagine how terrifying it would be to lose a child in an unusual situation.

"Especially as a parent, as a child, as anyone, if an event that is close to life happens, it's like, 'But that really happened,' that's even scarier, right?" she concluded.

CALL FROM THE GRAVE tells the story of Alya (Nirina), who along with her husband Raka (Nugie) and their daughter Yasmin (Firzanah Alya), visits her mother's house in a remote village. The vacation turns into a tragedy when Yasmin dies in an accident.

Due to the circumstances, Alya and her family have to bury their daughter in the backyard of the house. However, after returning to Jakarta, Alya feels haunted by something invisible and very familiar.
