Ahmad Dhani's Response to Being Called Not Over Maia Estianty, Asserts It's Not Revenge

Dhani explained that the videos are a form of proof against the statements made by his ex-wife, Maia Estianty, which he believes contain slander. The man who is also the frontman of Dewa 19 emphasized that the purpose behind the videos is to test Maia's reaction.

"We will see later. We will see if Maia will deny or not. If she doesn’t deny, it means it’s not true or slander," said Ahmad Dhani at the KPAI office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (9/7/2025).

2. No Grudge

Many suspect that Dhani's actions are motivated by feelings of revenge from the past. However, Dhani firmly denies this assumption. He explains that the video upload is purely an effort to provide proof to the wider community.

"There is no grudge, this is proof to the public," emphasized Dhani.

3. Denying Not Reconciling Yet

Ahmad Dhani also responded to the assumption that he has not reconciled and moved on from Maia Estianty. The 54-year-old man casually addressed the accusation, even questioning who is actually still discussing the past. He finds it strange to be suddenly accused of talking about the past, when according to him, he would not create that content if there were no trigger.

"Well, it’s okay, just check on YouTube who Ahmad Dhani is that hasn’t reconciled, who is still discussing the past? Why suddenly accuse me of talking about the past," he explained.

4. Make a Video Because of Maia's Remarks

Dhani added that the existence of the content "Collection of Gossip and Slander" is a reaction to Maia's statements, which he considers to contain discussions of the past. He felt the need to provide context and evidence regarding what happened.

"If there were no remarks from Maia discussing the past that I captured in the content 'Collection of Gossip and Slander', it would not be possible for it to exist," he added.

5. Challenge Maia

Dhani also issued a sort of challenge to Maia to respond to his post. He hopes for a reply from Maia regarding the slander allegations he made. For Dhani, if there is no response from Maia, it will indicate the truth of his accusations.

"It's okay. If comments like this are made, if there is no response from Maia that it is slander, I throw this ball; if there is no reply, it means it is slander," he explained.

6. Children Have No Burden

Regarding the impact of this post on his children, Al, El, and Dul, Dhani ensures that they are not burdened. He mentioned that his three sons have grown up and understand the real issues at hand.

"It's fine, it means Al is already an adult so there is no burden. The children already know the real issues," Dhani concluded.
