Complete File of Jonathan Frizzy Held in Prison, Threatened with 12 Years in Prison

Kapanlagi.com - After undergoing house arrest for health reasons, actor Jonathan Frizzy has finally been officially detained in the Correctional Institution (Lapas) following the phase II transfer by the Tangerang District Attorney's Office. This was done after the case file regarding the alleged shipment of vape containing hard drugs was declared complete or P21 on July 12, 2025.

According to Merdeka.com, Jonathan Frizzy, along with three associates, will soon undergo trial proceedings at the Tangerang District Court. They are charged with alleged legal violations related to the distribution of vape liquid containing etomidate, a type of strong anesthetic classified as a hard drug and not sold freely.

1. Threatened with 12 Years in Prison

Previously, Jonathan was not immediately incarcerated because he had just undergone surgery and was experiencing bleeding. However, now, with the legal considerations having been fulfilled, he is officially behind bars while awaiting the schedule for his first trial to be set.

Based on Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health, the suspects including Jonathan Frizzy face a maximum sentence of 12 years in prison and a fine of up to Rp5 billion. This threat is stipulated under Article 435 in conjunction with Article 138 paragraphs (2) and (3) which regulate illegal production and distribution of drugs.

2. Additional Threat of Punishment

Not only that, they also face an additional threat of five years in prison or a fine of Rp500 million as stipulated in Article 436 paragraph (2) regarding violations of pharmaceutical practices involving the use of hard drugs without permission.

This case has attracted public attention as it involves a well-known figure in the entertainment world. Many parties have highlighted how serious the legal violations related to drugs are, especially when committed by public figures who are supposed to set a good example. Now, Jonathan Frizzy's fate will be determined in the ongoing legal process.
