Boxing Match, El Rumi Has Obtained Full Permission from Ahmad Dhani & Maia Estianty - Last Match?

Kapanlagi.com - Amid his increasingly mature preparations for the boxing match against Jefri Nichol, El Rumi made a surprising statement. He hinted that his fight at Superstar Knock-out Vol.3 on August 9, 2025, could be his last appearance in the ring.

When asked about his plans after the match against Jefri, this musician and actor admitted he hasn't thought about challenging another opponent. His focus right now is entirely on this rematch.

"This might also be the last match, so it’s not certain that I will challenge anyone else afterwards," said El Rumi in the SCBD area, South Jakarta, on Friday (11/7/2025).

A man named Ahmad Jalaluddin Rumi seems to want to see the results of his fight with Jefri Nichol before deciding on the continuation of his career in the world of martial arts.

"We'll see later how the match with Nichol goes tomorrow," he replied briefly.

On the other hand, El Rumi also shared stories about the biggest challenge in his preparation, which is balancing his training schedule with his busy schedule in the entertainment world. He has to cleverly steal time in between shooting schedules.

"The difficulty is just finding time to train. Because the shooting schedule is uncertain. So we have to squeeze in training right after shooting. That's the difference," he explained.

Despite the busyness and potential risks in the ring, El Rumi assures that he has received full blessing from both of his parents, Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty.

"Yes, I've already asked for permission," he said firmly.

The support from his father and mother has never waned. They are said to be very supportive and hope their son can bring home victory again.

"No worries, they continue to support me. Full support. Hoping their child wins," concluded El Rumi.
