The entertainment world in the country was shocked by the sad news of the passing of Sandy Permana, one of the legendary soap opera actors from MISTERI GUNUNG MERAPI, commonly known as the Mak Lampir series. Sandy was found bleeding on the side of the road in the Cibarusah area, Bekasi Regency, on Sunday (12/1/2025).
According to information from the police, the victim was found in critical condition before being pronounced dead. Here are the details.
"Yes, that's correct," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Bekasi Police, Kompol Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar, when confirmed by the media crew, Sunday (12/1/2025).
Furthermore, Onkoseno explained the chronology of the discovery of Sandy Permana. The victim was initially seen walking in a wounded condition before eventually fainting in front of one of his neighbor's houses.
"This morning, the victim was found in a wounded condition, so he was not dead yet. The victim was still walking, and in front of one of the neighbor's houses, he fainted, and then the neighbor took him to Cileungsi hospital, where the victim passed away," he said.
The police, upon receiving a report from the residents, immediately went to the scene and conducted further investigations. The police also checked the condition of the victim at the hospital. Based on the examination results, several stab wounds were found on the victim's body, indicating that an act of violence had occurred.
"The police received a report, checked the crime scene, checked the hospital, and confirmed that the victim had died. There were several stab wounds," said Onkoseno.
Preliminary suspicion is that Sandy Permana became a victim of murder. The victim was found not far from his residence in the Cibarusah area. The location of the incident is estimated to be in the vicinity of his home, so quite a few residents saw the victim before he fainted. "Yes, that’s correct (the suspicion of murder). The location of the incident is still around the victim's residence," he explained.
Sandy was seen walking alone in a wounded condition before finally being found by nearby residents. This incident raises significant questions regarding the perpetrator and the motive behind the stabbing. "Walking alone then there were residents who saw," added Onkoseno.
This case is still under further investigation by the police. The police are working to uncover the perpetrator and the motive behind Sandy Permana's death.
