The family of the late Hotma Sitompul responded to the presence of Desiree Tarigan and Bams, former member of Samsons, at the mourning house. Both were seen arriving on Wednesday (16/4/2025) night, dressed in all black and entering without making any statements.
Hotma's son, Ditho Sitompul, expressed gratitude for the presence of the deceased's ex-wife and stepchild. According to him, the relationship that once existed remains an important part of his life. /far
"Yes, for us it is also something to be grateful for," said Ditho at the mourning house in the Antasari area, South Jakarta, Thursday (17/4/2025).
Ditho revealed that Desiree's presence in his life over the past two decades has been very significant. He considers those times as part of a meaningful life journey.
"Anyway, I also have to say it's been a chapter for me," he said.
During their time together, Desiree, referred to as Ditho, was said to have raised and educated him wholeheartedly. He also expressed his gratitude for his stepmother's role.
"Mom has also been with me for the past 20 years and has educated me, raised me too," said Ditho.
Not only to Desiree, Ditho also expressed appreciation for Bams' presence in his family. He reminisced about the moments they had shared together.
"And I am very grateful to have Mami, to have Brother Bams, who was once together with us," said Ditho. As is known, Hotma Sitompul passed away on Wednesday afternoon, around 11:15 AM WIB at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), Central Jakarta. The late passed away after undergoing intensive treatment due to complications from illness.
