Haruka Nakagawa revealed the story through her personal social media, which immediately attracted the attention of netizens. She shared the process and reasons behind her noble decision directly.
Haruka mentioned that the desire to donate her hair had existed for a long time. She feels grateful because she finally has the opportunity to realize that dream. "Because I have wanted to donate hair for a long time... And finally, I can donate my hair at @mandayaroyalhospitalpuri," she said.Â
In the post, Haruka shows the difference in hair length before and after the cut. The hair, which was previously chest-length, is now shoulder-length.
Haruka emphasizes that her desire purely comes from the intention to provide moral support. She feels she can't do much, but still wants to give encouragement.
"I can't do anything, but I want to give encouragement to those who are fighting against cancer…" Haruka expressed.
In addition to providing encouragement, Haruka also hopes that the hair she donates can provide real benefits. She wants her contribution to help cancer patients directly.
