This decision has garnered many comments, including from a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission X, Verrell Bramasta, who shared his views regarding PSSI's decision.

Under his leadership, the Indonesian National Team not only showed improved performance but also received appreciation from the public for the hard work and dedication shown by the South Korean coach. "I think today is a brave decision from PSSI. A decision that we must respect regardless. I believe PSSI certainly wants the best for our Garuda National Team," said Verrell in his statement.

Verrell did not forget to express his gratitude to Shin Tae Yong for the dedication and achievements he has made while coaching the Indonesian National Team. According to him, STY's contribution has brought many beautiful moments for national football.

"I also want to thank Shin Tae Yong for running and fighting together. Indeed, we cannot close our eyes. There are too many beautiful memories between STY and football supporters, including the Garuda National Team," he said.

Verrell then reminded of several important achievements that were accomplished during STY's tenure. From the AFF Cup 2020, SEA Games 2021, to bringing Indonesia to the third round of the World Cup qualifiers. He believes that STY's presence has left an unforgettable mark.

“Many achievements were made during the training by Shin Tae Yong. AFF 2020, SEA Games 2021, and even qualifying for the third round of the World Cup qualifiers. So in my opinion, this is not a breakup. I believe STY will always be in the hearts of Indonesian football supporters,” said Verrell.

However, Verrell also reminded that this decision presents a significant challenge, both for PSSI and the new coach who will replace STY. He hopes the next coach can elevate the Garuda National Team to a higher level.
