"Well, it's not a problem, right? In life, there will always be pros and cons. That's normal, so what matters is how we handle it as best as we can. If we talk about those who don't like it, then just don't pay attention to them, that's all," he said.

Mas Bre admitted that he often reads negative comments about sound horeg. "So sometimes I see village people being creative, it seems tacky. So sometimes I think negatively, sometimes I think, it damages the environment, makes things, you know, not knowing the real situation. The truth is, if there is damage, it will definitely be replaced by the committee," he continued.

However, according to Mas Bre, sound horeg events always have permission from the village head to the police. Therefore, sound horeg is mostly held in districts that do grant permission. "If in the city, it’s not allowed, sir, for example, in Malang city, we still can’t. The rule that prohibits it is because the residents reject it, so when the residents reject it, automatically we can’t," explained Mas Bre.

Mas Bre also highlighted that the organizers who invited him were actually proud if his sound could break window glass. "Wow, the bearded guy can break glass like that, so they are even proud, very proud, and then they tell their friends with a big head like that. Then they are also ready to replace what got broken, replaced by the committee," said Mas Bre.

"For example, those kids from Jakarta who act like they have high human resources, who want to seem smart but actually don’t understand, they are the ones who complain after watching on YouTube, see where he is. Oh, there’s this info that’s breaking, this is detrimental, even though it’s not, right? There’s a start and a finish, like in a carnival," he concluded.
