Sarwendah denies registering for divorce against Ruben Onsu at the South Jakarta District Court. The 34-year-old woman never had any intention to separate from her husband whom she married since 2013.
"Sarwendah has no intention at all to file for divorce against RO (Ruben Onsu)," said Chris Sam Siwu, Sarwendah's lawyer at PN Jaksel, on Friday (3/5/2023).
Although there are rumors stating that her marriage with Ruben Onsu is not going well, Sarwendah doesn't pay too much attention to it. She only wants to fulfill her duties as a good wife and mother to her children.
'Sarwendah only focuses on taking care of the children and being a good wife,' said Chris.
Therefore, Sarwendah considers the news about the lawsuit against Ruben Onsu very detrimental to her. In fact, she sees it as baseless slander.
'The disadvantage is a sense of discomfort, because these children are already grown up and understand. What if they catch the false news? That's what worries me. In fact, there was no intention to sue at all,' Chris said.
'So, this news is somewhat slanderous,' Chris added.
Sarwendah because she didn't want the news to get even wilder, decided to clarify to the South Jakarta District Court, which has issued a statement, that there is a woman who has filed a lawsuit against Ruben Onsu.
"Alhamdulillah earlier I met directly with the vice chairman of the court, and was welcomed nicely,” she continued.
“He also really appreciates that we communicated with the court first instead of sending a legal warning or reporting this to the Judicial Commission, but everything has been handed over to the Court," she concluded.
