Kapanlagi.com - The first divorce trial of Aditya Zoni and his wife, Yasmine Ow, was held at the Religious Court (PA) Cibinong on Tuesday (11/6/2024). However, only Yasmine Ow as the plaintiff attended the trial.
Meanwhile, Aditya Zoni did not attend the hearing despite receiving a summons from the court at his new address. Machi Ahmad, Yasmine Ow's legal representative, stated that the summons had been sent and received by Aditya Zoni.
"I also explained that the defendant has received a summons at the new address," said Machi Ahmad at the Religious Court (PA) Cibinong, Tuesday (11/6/2024).
The second divorce lawsuit filed by Yasmine Ow was initially rejected by the court due to the issue of Aditya Zoni's changed domicile address. However, the lawsuit was eventually accepted.
"There might be a second summons later. Let's continue with this trial, Alhamdulillah it was accepted," said Machi.
Machi added that they will follow the trial stages according to the court's decision and await the verdict from the panel of judges.
"Let's see how the judges will react because this is a high-profile case. We can't read the judges' minds, but what's clear is that we will continue to proceed step by step," said Machi.
Aditya Zoni's absence in this hearing is because he chose to meet with his child. This was revealed directly by Yasmine Ow.
"We still communicate, he picked up my child earlier. We did meet, he already knew there was a hearing today," said Yasmine.
Yasmine also stated that she was not surprised by her husband's absence in this first divorce hearing.
However, when asked about the reason for Aditya Zoni's absence, Yasmine suggested asking him directly.
"If you want to know, ask him. I have already registered, so whether he attends or not is his right," she said.
