While playing in the snow, the ski that Marissa and her husband were riding got stuck in the snow. Marissa's boots couldn't come off and resulted in her sprained knee.
"After a delicious bowl of Ramen during lunch break, we went back to the slope, and unfortunately, I fell quite badly!" wrote Marissa Nasution.
Then the patrol team came and provided assistance. Marissa was immediately taken to the hospital, and due to the severe injury, she had to undergo surgery.
After undergoing an MRI test, the results revealed a completely torn ACL and a grade two torn MCL. Surgery is necessary, and until now, Marissa is still being treated in the hospital.
Marissa Nasution's husband and children give her encouragement for her recovery. "The children and Papa Bene visited me today to boost my spirits. Tomorrow I will go home to recover," Marissa Nasution wrote.
Marissa Nasution's child also wrote a very sweet letter to her. Marissa also didn't forget to express her gratitude for the concern of others regarding the incident that happened to her.
