“I am happy to have my first son, the crown prince who successfully married the woman I call the most beautiful in Indonesia,” he said.
As a father figure, Dhani feels proud of his upbringing of Al Ghazali. He believes Al has successfully grown into a role model for his two younger siblings, El Rumi and Dul Jaelani. On many occasions, he always emphasizes the importance of El and Dul emulating their older brother.
In the midst of his speech, the musician, who is also known as the founder of Dewa 19, suddenly mentioned Maia Estianty and Irwan Mussry.
“I am also happy today not only because of Al, but also because Al's mother is happy too for having a husband who is better than me,” Dhani said, which immediately surprised many parties.

Dhani's statement became a point of comparison with Richard Daguise's speech, Alyssa's father. Richard was seen as more focused on the happiness of the couple getting married and delivered a simple yet touching message.
"I wish for nothing but your happiness. My words for you are just one, just, live it. Enjoy life. Appreciate, communicate, love each other no matter what happens," said Richard Daguise in English.
