"Yes, I did feel like not doing anything for a while, but yesterday I sang because I had a commitment, I am professional in that regard, Marissa would also be happy to see me sing, and that is a step towards my commitment to continue singing," said Ikang Fawzi as quoted by detikhot, on Monday (14/10/2024).
Ikang expressed that even though he feels a loss, singing gives him the opportunity to feel Marissa's presence. Â "Marissa was also happy to see me sing, and that is a step towards the commitment to continue singing," he said.
Ikang Fawzi, who is also a father of two children, emphasizes the importance of music in his life and how it has become a way to remember his wife.
This decision is not just about continuing his career, but also about preserving the memories and love they shared together.
Ikang will continue to entertain many people through singing. For him, this will become a field of charity if intended.
