Agreement with Asri Welas, Galiech Ridha Will Provide Support for the Children - Check the Amount Here

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce process between Asri Welas and Galiech Ridha Rahardja continues to unfold at the Religious Court of Depok, West Java. In the hearing held on Tuesday (10/12/2024), several agreements regarding child custody and support have been reached by both parties.

Asri Welas's attorney, Sifra Pangabean, revealed that the support for the couple's three children ranges from Rp5 million to Rp10 million per child each month.

"But that is not given all at once. If there are school needs, that is outside the monthly support and will be provided again according to their needs," Sifra said when met at the court.

In addition, the house in the Raffles area is fully granted to Asri Welas to live in with her underage children.

"It is fully given to the mother first because the children are still small. So it is indeed for the mother and the children," Sifra explained.

Regarding Galiech's residence, Sifra revealed that they have been living separately for a long time.

"Mr. Galiech has not lived there for a long time. Sister Asri also mentioned that they have been separated for two to three years. Now he lives in another house," she said.

Sifra also explained that the main reason for the divorce is the disharmony in their relationship over the past two years.

"The basis for the lawsuit is that they have not been together for two consecutive years, which meets the requirements in the Marriage Law to file for divorce," said Sifra. "As for the details, only the couple knows to protect the privacy of the children."

Regarding how the children received the news of the divorce, Sifra mentioned that Asri and Galiech have explained the situation to them.

"As far as I know, Sister Asri and Mr. Galiech have talked to the children to help them understand the plan for this separation," she revealed.

However, Sifra emphasized that she only handles the legal aspects and does not get involved in the family's internal matters.

"As a lawyer, I only manage the legal process. For details of communication with the children, that is their business," she asserted.

This hearing is a continuation of the mediation agreement that has been previously reached. Custody of the children is granted to Asri, while Galiech is still allowed to meet the children without restrictions.

The next hearing is scheduled for December 17, 2024, where further agenda will be held. Both parties hope this divorce process will be completed soon for the sake of the family, especially their children.
