Confusing the General Election Commission, Aldi Taher: Not to Mention the General Election Commission, Even I'm Confused, I'm Just a Chicken Noodle Seller

Kapanlagi.com - Aldi Taher has become a public talk because he is considered to confuse the General Election Commission (KPU). The former wife of Dewi Persik is registered with two different parties to run as a legislative candidate.

As is known, Aldi Taher is registered as a legislative candidate for the Indonesian House of Representatives from the Crescent Moon Party (PBB) and the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo). When asked about it, Aldi Taher is also confused about why he entered the world of politics.

"Not to mention the General Election Commission, I'm confused myself. Why did I enter politics, I'm just a chicken noodle seller. I'm a jellyfish member, wakwaw," said Aldi Taher in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/25/2023).

"But young people, don't be afraid to get involved in politics. Because even Bung Karno (Soekarno) got involved in politics from a young age. So Aldi Taher is the twin of Bung Karno, God willing. Pray, God willing, Aldi Taher will be beneficial for Indonesia," added Aldi Taher.

1. Don't Want to Make Promises

As a candidate for the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Aldi Taher refuses to make promises to the general public. In fact, when asked about his vision and mission as a candidate legislator, Aldi Taher instead chose to say it is better to choose first.

"Choose my vision and mission first. I don't want to promise here. I'm afraid that if I make promises, they won't be fulfilled and it will be a sin. I want to be chosen based on my performance, God willing," he said.

2. The Quran as Capital

Not knowledge, Aldi Taher admits that he only relies on reading the Quran to enter the world of politics. According to him, knowledge will be obtained through reading the Quran.

"My capital is just Bismillah. My capital is reading the Quran, knowledge will be obtained through reading the Quran. Why do I want to run for a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, God willing? I want to read the Quran in the Senayan," concluded Aldi Taher.
