Almost 2 Years Separated from Sirajuddin Mahmud, Imel Putri Cahyati Hasn't Received an Explanation about the Child Issue

Kapanlagi.com - The marriage of Imel Putri Cahyati with Sirajuddin Mahmud ended after 8 years and they were blessed with a daughter named Aqila Ramadhani Sirajudin. Despite being separated for almost two years, there hasn't been any agreement regarding the explanation of the child issue and the rights of each party until now.

Imel Putri Cahyati admitted that she is always open to discuss the unresolved issues. However, until now, they have never discussed the issue.

"It's from his side, I'm always open. That's why, after he got married, I communicated with him and said that it needs to be clarified because we have to respect his spouse, so the clarity of the future of our child is the first thing and the rights I have after being married to him for almost 8 years is the second thing. It has never been discussed, but when it is discussed, it disappears," said Imel Putri Cahyati when met at Trans TV Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/4).

After marrying Zaskia Gotik, Sirajuddin Mahmud agreed to meet Imel Putri Cahyati. Although there has been no further news from her ex-husband, Imel hopes to meet and resolve the matter soon.

"If I'm free, but the last thing he said was that he wanted to meet, after I said okay there was no response anymore. I don't know, maybe in the near future we will meet," she continued.

2. Seeking Accountability

Imel admits that she does not expect grand things from her ex-husband. Their child remains the top priority for the actress born on November 8, 1988.

"It's universal, it's privacy of course. But I'm not expecting too much. The important thing is that he, as a father, takes responsibility for everything," Imel concluded.

3. Relationship between Ex-Husband and Child

The lack of smooth communication between Imel Putri Cahyati and her ex-husband does not necessarily strain the relationship with their child. Imel believes that her 8-year-old child doesn't need to know about the issues that occur between the two parents.

"Smooth, meeting, staying over every weekend. In my opinion, adult problems should not be known by children, let them figure it out themselves," she concluded.
