Always Seen Romantic with Husband on Social Media, Nindy: Shouldn't Expose Private Matters

Kapanlagi.com - Throughout 9 years of marriage, Nindy's married life with her husband Askara Parasady Harsono has been far from gossip. On social media, this couple always appears romantic.

But who would have thought that at the beginning of this year, the public was shocked by news about their marriage. It started with Askara being arrested for drug-related charges, and shortly after, Nindy filed for divorce from Askara, who turned out to have experienced domestic violence and infidelity.

1. Doesn't Want to Expose Husband's Shame

Always keeping her household problems tightly closed, Nindy doesn't want people, even her own family, to know what's going on. She also doesn't want to expose her husband's shame.

"Oh yes, I strongly agree with anything good, I don't want people to know. In my religion, Islam, it is not allowed to expose household shame on social media or to show public arguments," said Nindy when met at Komnas Perempuan, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (16/2).

"When arguing, I prefer to stay inside the room and not go out, and I don't do anything, not even talk about my partner's faults," she continued.

2. Not a Facade

Therefore, she has always shared her affection on social media. But it doesn't mean it's a facade, as netizens say. Because according to her, after almost 10 years of marriage, there must have been moments of happiness for them.

"People say I'm pretending, but come on, after almost 10 years of marriage, there must have been happiness, it's a lie if there isn't. I am happy with my family, but there are fundamental principles that make me have to separate," she said.

"So if they say I'm not grateful and happy, it's a lie. But there are things that can no longer be tolerated, so in the end, I decided that this (divorce) should happen," concluded Nindy.
