Catherine Wilson and Idham Masse have just undergone a divorce hearing at the Religious Court of Depok, West Java, on Wednesday (24/1/2024). The hearing was scheduled for mediation.

Catherine Wilson mentioned that there are two factors that made her want to separate from her husband. First, the long-distance relationship and second, she has not received any livelihood from her husband for eight months.

"Indeed, I also want a divorce. It's not just about LDR, but there is no responsibility. Nafkah," said Catherine Wilson after the trial.

The cast of the film PENGANTIN PANTAI BIRU admitted that initially Idham Mase was still able to provide nafkah. However, it only lasted for eight months.

"That was only during the early days of our marriage (nafkah transfer). It's been a long time, it's been eight months," she said.

"During the early days of marriage, he agreed. But, gradually it decreased, decreased to the point of not being given at all. The reason is because I didn't go there. I'm here," she added.

Meanwhile, Idham Mase denies Catherine Wilson's statement claiming that she has never been given any financial support by her husband.

This denial was conveyed by Idham Masse's legal representative, Ilham Rasyid. He stated that his client fulfills the obligations of a husband to his wife, including financial support.

"The bottom line is that Mr. Haji fulfills his duties as a husband to determine the issue of maintenance, it must be done, and he can determine the amount of maintenance," said Ilham Rasyid.

"Mr. Haji fulfills his duties and his wife must also fulfill her duties," he concluded.

The divorce hearing of Catherine Wilson and Idham Mase will continue on January 31, 2024, with the agenda of reading the lawsuit.

It is known that Catherine Wilson filed for divorce from Idham Mase at the Depok Religious Court, at the end of 2023. The lawsuit is registered with the number 32/Pdt.G/2024/PA DPK.
