Baim Wong Will Present 12 Witnesses in Divorce Hearing with Paula Verhoeven

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce hearing of Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven was held at the Religious Court (PA) of South Jakarta on Wednesday (20/11/2024). Fahmi Bachmid, Baim Wong's legal counsel, provided information regarding the proceedings, which this time focused on evidence presentation. Fahmi stated that the trial went smoothly with various pieces of evidence submitted.

"The evidence was presented. The hearing went smoothly, thank God. There are 43 pieces of evidence and there are several we need to add. God willing, in the next week or two, we will also submit additional evidence and expert testimony," Fahmi stated after the hearing on Wednesday (20/11/2024).

1. Ensure Strong and Accurate Evidence

When asked about the type of evidence that has been submitted, Fahmi chose not to provide details. However, he ensured that the evidence submitted is strong enough and includes various formats.

"I cannot explain. But the evidence related to it includes written evidence as well as video recordings, like what, that is material from the process of proving, so I cannot disclose it," he said.

2. Prepare More than 12 Witnesses

In addition to evidence, Fahmi revealed that his side has also prepared witnesses who will be presented in the next trial. According to Fahmi, there will be more than 12 witnesses providing their statements.

"What is clear is that there will be witnesses, maybe more than 12 people. There are also three experts, we will prepare everything. So this is a process that we must convey and God willing, Baim will always be present in this trial," said Fahmi.

3. Doesn't Want to Reveal Witness Identity

When asked why there are so many witnesses presented, Fahmi explained that each witness has a different story. This is considered important to provide a complete picture to the panel of judges.

"Because each witness has their own story. So if the stories are different, they are different from each other's stories," said Fahmi.

However, Fahmi remains reluctant to disclose the identities of the witnesses. "Can't do it, can't do it," he said.
