Becoming a Victim of Fraud, Angel Lelga Suffers Losses of Billions of Rupiah

As it turns out, it was not Angel Lelga's personal property, but she was only a brand ambassador (BA) of Angel Token. Angel Lelga admitted that she had been harmed by the issue. In addition to her contract not being paid yet, her investment in the token is also still unclear.

"I am actually a victim here. As a BA (Brand Ambassador), I was not paid. They denied this contract, and my money that went in there is unclear. I asked for clarity, and even when I asked for it to be returned, it was not returned," said Angel Lelga at the South Jakarta Police Station on Thursday (2/6/2022).

"This means that in addition to being a BA who was not paid, I was also asked to transfer money, but I don't know where my money went. I am worried that this will have an impact on the public who use my name, Angel Token. And I ask the developer to remove the name Angel because there are indications that, in our opinion, there is suspicion of something, and it will be in accordance with the BAP process later on," added Angel Lelga.

Then, Angel Lelga finally made a report against the developer of Angel Token, identified as C and K, to the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police for alleged fraud under Article 378 of the Criminal Code on May 24, 2022. The report was registered with case number LP/B/1199/V/2022/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA.

"So we are informing that there is already a police report regarding the alleged fraud by business partners with initials K and C, that's all for now as we are still investigating it," said Angel Lelga's legal representative, Deolipa Yumara, in the same occasion.
