Before Passing Away, Steven Kaligis Vocalist of Steven & The Coconut Treez Leaves This Sign

Kapanlagi.com - Grief still accompanies the departure of renowned musician, Steven Kaligis. The vocalist of Steven & The Coconut Treez passed away after struggling against the kidney failure disease that he had been suffering from.

The deceased's body has been buried in TPU Utan Kayu, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/6). Family and close friends accompanied Steven's departure.

Apparently, before his passing, Steven Kaligis had given a sign to his friends and family. When met after the funeral, Putra, as the manager, mentioned that the band Steven & The Coconut Treez has changed its name to Coconuttreez, removing Steven's name from the front.

1. Request from the late Steven Kaligis

Putra added that it was not an agreement of the entire band members, but a request from the late Steven Kaligis. Meanwhile, in the same occasion, according to Aponk, the request might be a sign, and now it is proven that Steven Kaligis has gone and disappeared forever.

"Coincidentally, on April 11th, the name changed to Coconuttreez, and it was the late Steven's request," said Putra.

"Maybe that's the sign, because it used to be called Steven & Coconut Treez, then Steven is missing and now he's really gone," added Aponk, responding.

Not only that, Rival also told another 'strange' incident before the late Steven passed away. It is known that the late Steven felt uncomfortable when performing wearing a shirt with his name on it.

"The reason was that he felt uncomfortable when performing with a shirt that had his name on it, that's why he asked for it to be changed. Maybe that's one of the signs, Wallahualam," said Rival.

With the death of the vocalist, Tege Coconuttreez revealed that he and his left-behind bandmates still do not know the fate of their band in the future. "Well, we still don't know, we're still discussing it," concluded Tege.
